- Ignjat Jung to Šime Ljubić in 1886 (information and translation by Stefan Pop-Lasic): Letter 1 "Two days ago they digged in the field called Crepovac outside Mitrovica, a channel, and on that occassion they found two milestones (like that one from Laćarak), one, as it seems with whole and one with partial inscription." Letter 2 (six days after letter 1) "On Ruma side of our field leads from Čavić watermill to Sava, a channel, which separates Meterice (on the cadastre plan Meterize) from Crepovac. A new side channel was dug from that channel in 1883. To the right to Ruma, so then already have the workers found the stone, but they didn't care about it. … now the workers have found two roman milestones, one beside the other, each one more than two meters long. One is complete and the other is broken into three pieces.“
